Abstract 2323 Role of Resveratrol in Neuroinflammation and Microglial Activation
Neuroinflammation plays a significant role in neurodegenerative disease pathology, involving complex genomic and protein-based interactions, particularly those of cytokines, interferons, and long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs). This study evaluates the therapeutic potential of resveratrol, a polyphenolic compound with known antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, in modulating neuroinflammatory pathways in vitro. Using mouse microglia cells, we investigated resveratrol's effects on key inflammatory biomarkers, including cytokines and neuroinflammation-associated lncRNAs.
