Abstract 1868 Embracing Their Unique Strengths: Reflections from My First Year Teaching at a Neurodivergent College
Teaching and co-creating classrooms with ND students, focusing on their unique needs, has been transformative, offering valuable insights into creating inclusive, strengths-based learning environments that support the diverse needs of ND students. Over the course of my first year, I have identified key strategies for fostering engagement, promoting belonging, and addressing executive function and sensory needs. Data were gathered through teaching observations, student, and reflective practices over one academic year.
