Abstract 1542 Renovating Biochemistry Education with Generative AI: Tips for Instructors and Insights from Students

Advancements in generative AI, particularly tools like ChatGPT, are revolutionizing biochemistry education with innovative ways to enhance both teaching and learning. This project explored the dual potential of generative AI to empower instructors and engage students. For educators, ChatGPT was experimented to create diverse assessment questions, grade free-response answers with customized feedbacks, and design interactive practice activities. These tools enabled more adaptive and engaging teaching strategies, reducing workload while improving the quality of educational resources.
