Innovation in Information Resources Management. The Experience of the Buenos Aires Technological Institute

An innovation-related experience is presented, based on the modification in the management of an area within the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires. The transformation of the university's library, which as of 2023 became a Knowledge Resource Center, involved the integration of learning and research services into a single area that focused on an approach based on flexibility, digital access and collaborative learning. Since its implementation, the area planned to work on two axes, whose objectives were to strengthen its links within and outside the university, and to prioritize diversity of information resources to meet the needs of its community. This led to the renewal and expansion of e-Book collections, the introduction of new technological services and improvements in digital platforms such as the Institutional Repository.
