MUSI-PQC: A Post-Quantum Cryptographic Protocol for Reliable and Trustworthy 6G-IoT Music Systems

In 6G-IoT music ecosystems, the development of quantum computers presents new dangers to privacy and security, as conventional cryptographic defenses cannot protect sensitive musical information. This paper proposes MUSI-PQC, a new post-quantum cryptographic protocol designed for reliability and trust in 6G-IoT music systems. MUSI-PQC, which is built upon the binary ring-learning with errors problem, optimizes the processing of musical data streams through polynomial superscalar acceleration and fast random number generation to ensure secure music transmission in 6G networks. The protocol achieves superior resource utilization across distributed edge nodes while maintaining high-security standards and trustworthiness metrics, demonstrating a 45% reduction in encryption time compared to existing approaches at the 140-bit quantum security level. Trust and security measurable trade-offs are shown with experimental results on emulated 8-bit 6G-IoT music systems where MUSI-PQC audio processing latency is kept lower than 0.8ms for 192kHz sampling rates, symbol recovery accuracy in constellation analysis is achieved at 99.7%, and private key demand is limited to 127 bytes revealing critical enhancements needed for dependable functionality in 6G-IoT music systems. The security assessment affirms MUSI-PQC’s reliability in protecting musical content during the quantum computing phase of 6G-IoT networks by confirming the protocol’s resilience against lattice attacks and other side-channel vulnerabilities, including timing, power, and fault injection attacks.
