EVOLUÇÃO DO MÉTODO DE DIRECIONAMENTO DE VIGAS DE CONCRETO ARMADO
This paper presents a critical analysis of the evolution of reinforced concrete beam design methods, addressing the change from the traditional Allowable Stress Method to the more current and rational Limit State Method. The research examines how this transition directly influenced the performance, safety and economy of structures, in addition to co Aspects related to sustainability, the use of emerging technologies such as BIM and the importance of normative choice in the final cost of works are also discussed. This paper consists of a systematic literature review, with analysis and discussion of data using a qualitative approach. Twenty articles on the subject of beam design and concrete structural standards were analyzed. Finally, the study points out future perspectives, highlighting the continuous improvement of structural design practices in view of new technological and environmental demands.
