Abstract 2869 Gold nanoparticles combined with a selected tyrosine kinase inhibitor as an innovative targeted pharmacotherapy for pancreatic cancer
Pancreatic cancer is a malignant tumor with one of the worst prognoses among solid tumors. This tumor is characterized by an aggressive course, high invasiveness, rapid progression and resistance to treatment. Despite the ongoing search for new and more effective therapies, the results of treatment of this cancer are unsatisfactory. Therefore, there is a great need to search for innovative, breakthrough therapies that will reverse the dramatic fate of patients diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. For a breakthrough in pancreatic cancer pharmacotherapy, targeted therapy seems to be an absolute requirement.
