Abstract 1091 Nrf2 orchestrates epigenetic regulation and acts as the master regulator of KLF4 expression and activity during arsenic-induced cell transformation
Background: Emerging evidence suggests that Nrf2 plays a pro-carcinogenic role in various cancers. Our previous study demonstrated that arsenic-induced Nrf2 activation promotes metabolic reprogramming and the formation of cancer stem-like cells. Methods: In this study, we present novel insights through an integrated analysis of global chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) and RNA-seq data, coupled with molecular experiments, to elucidate Nrf2's pivotal role in epigenetically regulating KLF4 expression and function.
