Abstract 3069 Structure-guided approaches to engineer broad immunotherapies against emergent viruses
Enveloped RNA viruses represent a vast group of pathogens with pandemic potential. These viruses exhibit diverse reservoirs and mechanisms of infectivity, yet they often share common elements that may be targeted for universal therapeutic strategies. A fundamental question my lab aims to address is how we can exploit these common elements to accelerate the development of new therapies and vaccines to combat the diversity of emergent viral threats. In this presentation, we will describe our efforts to develop broad immunotherapies against the multitude of SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern and related zoonotic coronaviruses using structure-guided and in vivo approaches.
