Abstract 1114 Dynamicity of Mincle Associated FABP-5 and Immune Cells in MAFLD Patients Undergoing Bariatric Surgery
Metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) and obesity-related disorders are increasing globally and affecting more than 40% with an increased risk of metabolic-associated steatohepatitis, type 2 diabetes (T2DM) and metabolic aberrations (MetS), including cancers. We aimedat a multi-dimensional approach toevaluate and assess the dynamicity of c-type lectin-mediated fatty acid binding protein (FABP-5) crosstalk between T-regulatory cells (T-regs) in obese MAFLD patients undergoing bariatric surgery and non-obese MAFLD.
