Abstract 2451 Development of Small Molecules Targeting an Epigenetic Modulator for Pediatric Neuroblastoma
The Bromodomain PHD finger Transcription Factor (BPTF) is an oncogenic driver of neuroblastoma. Our objective is to pioneer the discovery of chemical compounds that engage the PHD finger of BPTF (BPTF PHD) and inhibit its biological function, thereby establishing first-in-class chemical probes for this epigenetic reader. Our previously conducted NMR and Time-Resolved Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (TR-FRET) screens identified a collection of small molecules that suggest BPTF PHD engagement in vitro.
