Abstract 1581 Genetically engineered exosomes for targeted prostate cancer immunotherapy
Exosomes are phospholipid bilayer membrane vesicles secreted by various cell types. These vesicles perform multiple biological functions, such as transporting cellular constituents and participating in diverse cell signaling pathways. Additionally, exosomes are optimal drug delivery vehicles because they can be modified to target specific antigens and carry various therapeutic payloads. In this study, we constructed genetically reprogrammed exosomes that display two distinct types of monoclonal antibodies on their surface for cancer immunotherapy.
