Abstract 1560 Effect of Noni Fruit & Drink on Colon Cancer

Colon cancer causes the uncontrolled growth of the cells in the large intestine. Current treatments can cause severe side effects, which is why an exploration of alternative therapies to alleviate those side effects could be beneficial to the patients. Noni fruit ( Morinda citrifolia), used traditionally in Asia and the Pacific Islands, has shown promising results in treating cancer. This research explores the potential of noni fruit and drink as a natural agent against colon cancer. This research investigates the effects of different concentrations of noni Fruit and noni drink on the cytotoxicity and viability of colon cancer cells.
