Abstract 1409 MultiMap: Probing cellular targets with photocatalytic proximity labeling
Protein-protein interactions are pivotal to cellular signaling and intercellular communication. These interactions take place across a wide range of length scales, making it difficult to map a given protein's interactome with maximal coverage and resolution. Despite recent advances in proteomics, no single method can cover all the labeling length scales and thus, users need to alternate between current interactomics methods to interrogate different biological systems. To tackle this technical gap, we developed a multi-scale interactome profiling approach named MultiMap, using one single organic photosensitizer, Eosin Y.
