Abstract 1234 Oligomeric Fluorescent Proteins as homoFRET Anisotropy Protease Sensors
Proteases are key regulators of metabolic and signaling pathways, and understanding their spatial and temporal dynamics is a critical aspect of protease research. In recent decades, systems-level approaches like proteomics and metabolomics have been used to unravel the coordination of multiple proteases within and across networks. Live-cell imaging of fluorescent sensors has the potential to complement these omics techniques by providing real-time, continuous quantification of protease activity dynamics.
