Abstract 1010 Kruppel-like factor 2 (KLF2) reduces parameters of coronavirus disease-related pathogenesis
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has emerged as a global health crisis, characterized by high mortality rates and rapid transmission. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection leads to a dysregulated immune response and cytokine storms, resulting in multi-organ dysfunction and death. Despite the urgency, targeted therapeutics for COVID-19 are lacking due to limited knowledge of regulatory targets. This study investigates the role of anti-inflammatory transcription factor KLF2 in mitigating COVID-19-associated pathogenesis.
