Abstract 1668 Age-related change of interaction between endothelial cells and neutrophils in muscle tissue during wound healing
Objective: Delayed healing of skeletal muscle injuries associated with aging is a serious matter because it leads to a reduction in healthy lifespan. It has been reported that age-related disturbances in the immune system affect this phenomenon. However, it is still unclear how the immune system response to vascular remodeling after muscle injury changes with age. The aim of this study is to clarify the age-related changes of interaction between the immune system and endothelial cells in vascular remodeling after muscle injury.
