SPACE, TIME AND CULTURAL MEANINGS IN THE LINGUISTIC PICTURE OF THE WORLD USING THE EXAMPLE OF THE WORKS OF ANNA AKHMATOVA

The article "Space, Time, and Cultural Meanings in the Linguistic Worldview: A Case Study of Anna Akhmatova's Works" is dedicated to the analysis of spatial and temporal categories in Akhmatova's poetry through the lens of the Russian linguistic worldview. It examines the peculiarities of depicting time as a multilayered phenomenon where the past, present, and future intertwine, expressing a tragic perception of life and nostalgia for a lost culture. Spatial images, such as St. Petersburg and home, are analyzed in terms of their cultural and symbolic meanings. The author emphasizes how Akhmatova, through language, creates a complex system of interactions between time, space, and cultural meanings that reflect the Russian national consciousness. The article explores the perception of time and space in literary works and their interconnection with the features of human perception. The author views literary works as coherent semantic structures where space and time are not perceived separately but are integrated into a unified whole. Special attention is given to the concepts of T.V. Toporova and L.V. Shcherba, who highlight the perceptual features of spatial perception ("distant – near," "stillness – movement") and the importance of combining meanings to create new ones, rather than simply summing them up.
