The Gap Between Official Speeches And Sociopolitical Realities As A Catalyst For Armed Conflicts In The Central African Republic
This article analyzes the gap between the official discourse of the Central African state and the realities experienced by the population, in connection with the recurrence of armed conflicts in the CAR. The article explores how the official rhetoric on unity, reconciliation, and development contradicts the exclusionary governance practices marked by clientelism, nepotism, ethnic divisions, and unequal resource distribution. The text highlights the role of this gap in destabilizing the country, with sociopolitical tensions exacerbated by the marginalization of certain communities and local elites who fuel the demands of armed groups. This situation reveals a legitimacy crisis of power where violence becomes a means to assert alternative narratives of sovereignty and authority.
