Total Transfer Capacity Evaluation Based on the Improved Repeated Power Flow Method
To address the problem of assessing the total transfer capability under multiple stability constraints, this paper adopts an improved repeated power flow (RPF) method, aiming to reasonably determine the direction and step size to enhance the solution efficiency. First, a total transfer capability model is constructed, which takes into account three types of stability constraints: thermal stability, transient angular stability, and transient voltage stability. Next, the advantages and disadvantages of three different solution methods are compared in detail, and the iterative equation for the RPF method is established. Furthermore, by combining the sensitivity method and the bisection method, the direction and step size for the RPF are determined. Finally, through the case study, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.
