Research on Strategies for Enhancing Transient Stability in Power Systems with Large-Scale Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Integration
This paper addresses the issue of power system recovery during short-circuit faults when large-scale electric vehicles are discharging. A phase-angle compensation controller (PACC) design based on a three-phase LCL-type inverter is proposed. By integrating droop control strategies, this controller can rapidly adjust the phase angle of the inverter's output voltage after a short-circuit fault, ensuring it aligns with the phase angle of the synchronous generator or infinite bus, thereby significantly enhancing the system's fault recovery speed and stability. Simulation verification using MATLAB/Simulink demonstrates that the introduction of the PACC results in a noticeable reduction in rotor speed oscillation amplitude and a significant decrease in stabilization time, validating the effectiveness of this control strategy in enhancing the dynamic stability of the power system. This research provides effective technical support for the stable operation of power systems during the discharge of electric vehicles, offering significant practical value and theoretical significance.
