Research on Real-Time Simulation Testing Methods for Control and Protection Systems Based on Flexible Low-Frequency Power Transmission
Integrating offshore wind power into the onshore power frequency system through low-frequency power transmission significantly reduces the reactive power charging along the seabed cables by lowering the transmission frequency of the lines, thereby enhancing the transmission capacity. This approach exhibits broad application prospects in the field of offshore wind power transmission. Based on the background of the offshore wind farm transmission project on Guishan Island, Zhuhai, this paper proposes a real-time test method for the control and protection system based on flexible low-frequency power transmission. By constructing a real-time test system for the control and protection system based on flexible low-frequency power transmission and conducting Factory Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT), the feasibility of the control and protection system for flexible low-frequency power transmission is verified. This provides technical support for the application of flexible low-frequency power transmission technology in the field of large-capacity offshore wind power transmission.
