Fully printed MWCNT-PDMS thin film strain sensor
Flexible sensors are designed to seamlessly adhere to soft devices, facilitating the conversion of target signals into computationally recognizable signals. In this study, we introduce a flexible thin film mesh structure sensor for detecting tensile strain. The sensing circuit is constructed through a blend of Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), and the sensor is fabricated utilizing a microelectronic printer to control the thickness. We explore the influence of MWCNTs content and mesh structure on the sensing performance. Subsequently, we validate the feasibility of the proposed sensor.
