Different Types of Energy Storage Capacity Optimization Allocation Strategies in Virtual Power Plant Considering Dynamic TOU and Conditional Value at Risk
Due to the intermittency and volatility of photovoltaic(PV) power generation, as well as the reasonable allocation of various user-side energy storage system(ESS), a user-side ESS capacity allocation model in Virtual Power Plant (VPP) considering dynamic time-of-use price (DTOUP) and conditional value at risk (CVaR) was proposed. Firstly, to improve the flexibility of ESS on the user side, the dynamic TOU price is adopted. Secondly, the uncertainty of PV output is dealt with according to the theory of ESS. Finally, a user-side ESS capacity optimization configuration model in VPP is constructed. The results show that the proposed strategy can effectively realize the optimal allocation of ESS for different types of loads, so as to improve the utilization rate of ESS capacity at the user side.
