Control Study of Direct-Drive Permanent Magnet Synchronous Wind Power Generation System
Wind energy is the most promising renewable energy, and it plays a crucial role in sustainable development. This paper's research content is the converter control strategy of a direct-drive permanent magnet synchronous generator (D- PMSG) generation system. Firstly, the wind power system and its back-to-back dual PWM full power converter (FPC) are the research objects, establishing the system's mathematical model in different coordinate systems. Furthermore, the machine-side and grid-side control strategies of the back-to-back dual PWM full power converter are analyzed based on the mathematical model. Simulation results demonstrate that the full-power converter maintains the capability to output grid-connected voltage with a stable waveform across varying loads.
