A Study on the Application of BP Neural Network and Correlation Coefficients in the Analysis of College Students’ Physical Fitness
Using the real physical examination data of college students in a western university in 2022 as the sample, this study employs BP neural network to predict the physical fitness scores of college students. The study also provides academic warnings to students who did not pass the exam in a timely manner. Furthermore, the main indicators that affect the total physical fitness score are examined using correlation analysis. The study then predicts the levels of various major indicators that need to be achieved in order to reach a certain level of physical fitness. This approach can help college physical education teachers to formulate intervention measures in advance, and provide a theoretical basis for improving the physical fitness of college students.
