Super-Gaussian accelerated vibration test model for on-board equipment of high-speed EMUs
This study proposes a super-Gaussian accelerated vibration test model for the equipment of high-speed Electric Multiple Units. The relationship between the fatigue damage of Gaussian and super-Gaussian random vibration are discussed by the Miner’s linear fatigue cumulative damage theory. Then a numerical model for super-Gaussian accelerated vibration, commonly utilized in the rail transit industry with a kurtosis ranging from 3 to 10, is developed through regression analysis. Furthermore, the validation of the model is demonstrated by Gaussian and super-Gaussian vibration tests with three sets of 6005A-T5 aluminum specimens. The result shows that the error between the calculated and the experimental life is less than 2.9%.
