Research on Digital-Analog Hybrid Simulation Test Technology for VSC-HVDC Based on ADPSS

Digital-analog simulation technology is a test method to carry out closed-loop test research by connecting power system real-time digital simulation device to physical simulation device. In the simulation of large power grid, the operation characteristics of physical devices can be accurately simulated by digital-analog hybrid simulation to ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of power grid. With the VSC-HVDC transmission project playing an increasingly important role in Chinese power grid, it is important for intuitively understanding the operating characteristics of the VSC-HVDC project and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the VSC-HVDC project to carry out digital-analog hybrid simulation test research on the VSC-HVDC project. This paper introduces the digital-analog hybrid simulation technology of VSC-HVDC based on ADPSS, constructs the electromagnetic transient model of VSC-HVDC transmission project, and develops a new digital-analog interface including optical protocol conversion interface device and physical interface device. Based on this interface technology, the digital-analog hybrid simulation research of Chongqing-Hubei VSC-HVDC transmission project is carried out, which verifies the effectiveness of the digital-analog hybrid simulation technology proposed in this paper.
