Application of AIGC Technology in Accounting Graduation Thesis Writing Course Teaching: Taking Topic Selection as An Example

Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) technology has changed the way and process of content creation and provided new thinking for the teaching of academic writing. This study introduces the status of AIGC technology and Accounting Graduation Thesis Writing Course and analyzes the opportunities and potential challenges that AIGC technology brings to Accounting Graduation Thesis Writing Course teaching. This study finds that AIGC technology can introduce new research topics, research cases and theoretical perspectives for accounting students in the process of writing graduation thesis. However, if students over-trust or over-rely on the information provided by AIGC technology, the independence and academic value of their theses may be weakened. This study selects Topic Selection chapter in Accounting Graduation Thesis Writing Course as an example and demonstrates how to use the BOPPPS teaching model to effectively integrate AIGC technology into the teaching of Accounting Graduation Thesis Writing Course.
