Environmental Response Analysis of Aircraft Doors in Extreme Flight Temperature Environments
As the aircraft flight environment continues to expand, the tests that are introduced by the flight environment to the aircraft are gradually highlighted. In order to analyze the motion stalling of the aircraft door mechanism and other failures in an extreme high- and low-temperature environment, we carried out an environmental response analysis study on the thermal strain and motion performance of the aircraft door motion mechanism in such an environment. This paper constructs an analysis model of the aircraft door motion mechanism in a high- and low-temperature environment based on the aircraft door motion mechanism; analyzes the thermal strain and pin fit clearance of the aircraft door handle mechanism in an extreme high- and low-temperature environment; studies the quantitative effect of ambient temperature on the key mechanism of the aircraft door and establishes a kinematic analysis model of the aircraft door motion mechanism; calibrates the friction coefficient of the motion sub under different ambient temperatures; and quantifies the effect of ambient temperature on the rotation torque of the aircraft door handle. The effect of ambient temperature on the rotational torque of the aircraft door handle was quantified. The study shows that the pin hole clearance of the aircraft door handle mechanism at a high temperature is 0.015 mm, which is less than the lower clearance limit of 0.02 mm, and there is a potential failure of the door opening and closing due to the small clearance; the rotation torque of the aircraft door handle mechanism at a low temperature is increased by 180.93%, and there is a potential failure of the door opening due to the large frictional torque. Finally, this paper develops an environmental response analysis method for aircraft doors under different ambient temperatures, which can provide support for the safe operation and optimal design of aircraft.
