A Design of Storage-computation Separation Architecture for Cloud-native Environments
With the wide application of cloud computing and other technologies, how to manage and utilize all kinds of resources in cloud computing has become an important issue. Storage and computation, as the two core components of cloud computing resources, are managed and utilized in a way that directly affects the overall performance and efficiency of cloud computing. This paper focuses on storage and computing resources, and proposes a framework to realize the separation of storage and computation in cloud-native environment, utilizing open source products such as Kubernetes, Ceph and Prometheus, to realize the decoupling of storage and computation resources, and achieve the purpose of improving resource utilization and management efficiency, reducing operation cost, and providing a flexible and scalable storage and computation service.
