An Optimization for Capacity Configuration of Photovoltaic - Energy Storage Microgrid Considering the Solar Power Curtailment Rate
In the context of constructing a new power system, optimizing the integrated configuration of photovoltaic (PV) storage and charging systems for microgrids, while considering electric vehicle (EV) loads and renewable energy generation, is crucial for enhancing microgrid stability and facilitating the electrification and energy transition. This paper addresses the system configuration problem of grid-connected PV storage and charging microgrids, proposing an optimization scheme that incorporates the curtailment of photovoltaic generation. First, an economic model for the entire life cycle of the PV storage-charging system is developed, considering factors such as tax policies, PV storage equipment losses, and regional time-of-use tariffs. Second, a penalty function is introduced to account for the amount of curtailed solar energy, with different penalty factors applied according to varying system requirements. The paper then proposes an optimized configuration scheme for the PV storage-charging system that minimizes energy curtailment. Finally, simulations are conducted to validate the rationality and effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
