Emergency Materials Transportation Route Planning Based on Improved Grey Wolf Optimization Algorithm
This study proposes an Improved Grey Wolf Optimization (IGWO) algorithm to address the problem of emergency material transportation route planning in petrochemical bases. To solve the problems of insufficient local search capability in the traditional Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) algorithm, improvements such as using the Logistic-Tent chaotic mapping strategy for population initialization, introducing the Lévy flight strategy to update wolf positions, and designing an adaptive convergence factor are incorporated. Finally, a case study is conducted using a large petrochemical base in China to validate the effectiveness of the algorithm’s improvement strategies through simulation experiments. The results show that the IGWO algorithm significantly outperforms the GWO algorithm in terms of convergence speed and solution quality, demonstrating its high practical value.
