Experimental Research on Digital Curriculum Construction in Vocational Colleges from the Perspective of Categorized Development

The learners exhibit significant variances in their foundational knowledge and learning abilities, which poses challenges for the development of mechanics courses in vocational colleges. To address this issue, we propose a digital course construction plan characterized by a hierarchical structure and conduct a case study. Initially, numerical analysis methods were employed to generate digital resources, including animations and Mises stress plots. Based on these resources, we subsequently developed course materials at three levels of difficulty: high, medium, and low. Thirdly, we created E-learning software using C#, which integrates the three tiers of course resources. Finally, teaching experiments were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the instruction. The results indicate that the hierarchical digital course construction effectively meets the personalized learning needs of students across various levels. Students' interest in learning was significantly enhanced, and there was a marked increase in communication and discussion among them. While our research focuses on mechanics as a case study, this work offers valuable insights and references for exploring hierarchical teaching models and developing digital resources for other subjects.
