Research on the Risk Evolution Mechanism of Emergencies Based on Emotional Contagion
The occurrence and transmission of emergencies are typically accompanied by a high degree of uncertainty and complexity. Among them, emotional contagion, as a key factor in the social group response, significantly influences the development and evolution of events. In this paper, a complex network model is established to investigate the mechanism of emotional contagion in the evolution of emergency risk. By classifying people involved in emotional contagion into three categories: susceptible person S, infected person I, and temporarily immune person R, the infectious process of emotions among different subjects during the emergency was constructed. Combined with previous emergency cases, simulation scenarios were set up, and Matlab was employed to simulate the evolution process of emotional contagion. Studies have demonstrated that emotional contagion plays a crucial role in the evolution of emergency risk, and a thorough understanding of its mechanism is of great significance for enhancing the ability of society to cope with emergencies.
