Optimizing Multi-Failure Repair and Recovery in New Power Systems During Extreme Disasters

Extreme disasters can lead to large-scale failures of wind-scenic multi-energy complementary systems (WSMCS), while highly resilient systems can quickly restore important loads after disasters. In order to improve the resilience of WSMCS multi-failure repair and restoration under machine-end disasters, this paper firstly proposes a two-layer optimization model for multi-failure repair and restoration synergy, with minimum load dumping and minimum comprehensive social loss as the inner and outer optimization objectives, respectively. Then, combining the modelling characteristics of photovoltaic and gas boilers, gas turbines, heat pumps and other multi-energy coupling components, the operational constraints of electric power, natural gas and heat networks are considered. The inner layer optimizes the ‘source-network-load-storage’ fault state operation scheduling, while the outer layer considers the coordination of the electric-gas-heat repair teams to obtain the optimal repair sequence. Finally, this study establishes a resilience assessment index for the wind and solar PV system under machine-end disaster. Simulation results show that this strategy can reduce the impact of machine-side disasters on the WEEE system with better resilience recovery efficiency, and provide effective and coordinated information preparation.
