Managing Basic Data Quality for Electronic Resource
This paper presents a case study of quality management of basic electronic resource data. Basic electronic resource data forms the core of the library's data assets, covering the entire cycle of electronic resource management. The integrity and accuracy of these data are crucial for ensuring the effective use of electronic resources in libraries. This study constructs a model for the collection and storage of basic electronic resource data based on the Electronic Resource Management System (ERMS), which includes the process of vendor filling, librarian review, and data entry. By standardizing data code tables, optimizing workflow processes, this model aims to achieve quality control of basic data during the management of electronic resources. The study finds that electronic resource management is a complex system, where quality management of basic data significantly impacts the level of library services. Therefore, continuous development and optimization are key to improving the management and service quality of electronic resources.
