An Empirical Study on the Engineering Blended Teaching of Maritime English Based on Production-Oriented Approach and Data Analysis

This paper explores the application of POA in the engineering blended teaching of Maritime English by using the empirical research methods of statistical computing of SPSS, test and questionnaire through Interactive learning environments. The analysis of the data reveals the teaching method had a significant effect on promoting blended learning and teaching. There is a significant difference between the two groups. Students in the experimental group have significantly higher scores in reading, writing and Maritime oral English than the control group. Students have a good assessment of the teaching mode. By guiding students to integrate Interactive learning and application based on POA in blended teaching, the learning drive, the application of navigation knowledge and oral English of students have been improved.
