Development and Application of Digital Resources for Metal Heat Treatment Course Based on FEA
This study examines the role of FEA-based digital materials in advancing the teaching of metal heat treatment. After establishing the 3D models, we conducted numerical calculations to obtain visual resources represented by NT11 plots. These visual course resources were subsequently integrated into classroom instruction. The results indicate that these plots illustrate the evolution of the temperature field through color, facilitating learners' understanding of the quenching cooling process. There was a significant increase in learners' motivation and interest, with 83.8% of participants expressing a positive attitude towards this initiative. Abstract concepts and hazardous experimental environments pose challenges to the teaching of metal heat treatment. The design and development of digital materials represent an effective approach to address these issues and enhance the quality of classroom instruction.
