Research on Priority Introduction Scenarios and Strategies of ChaoJi Charging Standards in EV Market
The electric vehicle industry in China has witnessed unprecedented growth in recent years, establishing itself as a global leader in EV adoption and innovation. As the industry matures, the standardization of charging interfaces has become increasingly critical, serving as a cornerstone for improving user convenience, facilitating the rapid deployment of charging infrastructure, and strengthening international cooperation in the EV sector. Despite significant progress, the current charging standards in China, including the widely adopted 2015 and 2015+ standards, face notable limitations. Challenges such as insufficient support for high-power fast charging, constraints in alternating current communication protocols, and unresolved safety concerns have impeded the ability of these standards to fully meet the demands of next-generation electric vehicles. In response to these issues, China has proactively developed the ChaoJi charging standards-a cutting-edge solution designed to provide globally compatible, ultra-high-power, and safer charging capabilities. This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the ChaoJi standards in comparison to the 2015 and 2015+ standards, highlighting its advantages in terms of performance, interoperability, and user experience. Leveraging the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method, this study evaluates and prioritizes application scenarios for the ChaoJi standards, offering a systematic approach to its adoption in various contexts. Furthermore, the paper proposes actionable strategies and policy recommendations to support the seamless introduction and widespread adoption of the ChaoJi standards, paving the way for a unified and future-proof charging ecosystem.
