An Architecture for Privacy-first Security in 6G

As the evolution towards 6G networks accelerates, privacy and security become key priorities. This paper explores the development of a privacy-first architecture tailored for 6G, taking into account stringent privacy regulations such as GDPR and the strict requirements of the NIS2 directive. The architecture emphasizes decentralized security analytics, privacy-aware orchestration, proof-of-transit and trust assessment mechanisms. By leveraging advanced technologies such as federated learning, blockchain, and privacy-preserving data sharing, this framework aims at enhancing both security and privacy in the heterogeneous environments anticipated in 6G. The proposed workflows demonstrate the practical application of this architecture in protecting against various types of attacks, ensuring a robust and secure 6G network infrastructure.
