Innovative High Isolation Dielectric Split Ring Resonator Structure for Optimized Full-Duplex Applications
A novel Dielectric Split Ring Resonator (DSRR) has been introduced in this paper to increase the isolation in Full Duplex (FD) system. The novel Dielectric Split Ring Resonator structure is designed and simulated to operate at a center frequency of 10.25 GHz. The proposed structure has the capability to absorb the electromagnetic waves resulting in address the mutual coupling when situated amidst two antennas that are mutually coupled. The proposed structure is capable to improve isolation between two antennas up to 23 dB compared to two antennas without DSRR. Moreover, the DSRR is a novel structure that exhibits ability to absorb up to 90 % from incident waves. The DSRR structure is highly suitable for Full Duplex 5G/6G applications as well as stealth technology.
