Systems & Methods for URSP Parameters Based Data Connection Switching for Multiple Active Applications on Dual Sim Device using AI/ML
At present, the implementation of Dual Data Switching (DDS) for Network slicing (NW) [1][2] is performed manually by the user. There is a lack of a dynamic approach for DDS implementation that takes into account the URSP Rules [3][4], specifically the Route Selection Descriptors (RSD) parameters associated with the applications in use, as well as contextual factors such as user history, mobility, and data throughput. Additionally, there is no mechanism in place to manage scenarios involving Multiple Active Applications that require different Slices [1] or URSP Rules [3][4] Matching present in Different Sims in a dual sim phone. Therefore, we are proposing a robust method for data session switching that adheres to URSP Rules [3][4], specifically designed for Multiple Active Applications on a Dual Sim Dual Standby (DSDS) device.
