At the current stage of psychological science development, the concept of “resilience” has acquired multiple interpretations. However, it is generally defined as an individual’s ability to successfully adapt to stressful situations, crises, threatening conditions, or psychological trauma, thereby ensuring the maintenance of healthy functioning. This article analyzes scientific approaches to the conceptualization of resilience and examines its impact on the mental health of law enforcement officers. Particular attention is given to the psychological aspects of resilience and the resource potential of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.Theoretical analysis has shown that the phenomenon of resilience can be interpreted in three dimensions: as an individual capacity to cope with stress, as a process of adaptation to stressful conditions, and as an adaptive-protective mechanism that facilitates personal recovery after psychological trauma. The main advantages of high resilience levels in law enforcement officers include enhanced adaptability, psychological well-being, and professional effectiveness.Scientific research outlines various approaches to identifying factors that contribute to resilience development.
