Antibacterial activity of chloroform extract from Tarenna Asiatica against human pathogenic bacteria

The Researchers In This Study Set Out To Determine Whether Or Not A Chloroform Extract Of Tarenna Asiatica Could Kill Microorganisms That Cause Disease In Humans.Materials And Methods: Using The Agar Well Diffusion Method, The Antibacterial Activity Of The Chloroform Extract Was Tested Against Ten Human Pathogenic Micro-Organisms At Doses Ranging From 25 To 100 g/Ml.Division 1 (25 g/Ml), Division 2 (50 g/Ml), Division 3 (75 g/Ml), Division 4 (100 g/Ml), Division 5 (Positive Control), And Division 6 (Negative Control) Were Studied And The Zone Of Inhibition Was Determined. An 80% Pretest G Power Was Used To Determine The Sample Size. Results And Discussion: Eight Out Of Ten Clinical Bacterial Strains Shown Antibacterial Activity Against The Chloroform Extract.A Maximal Inhibitory Zone Of 21mm Was Seen Against E. Coli And P. Mirabilis At The Highest Concentration (100 g/Ml) Of The Chloroform Extract. The Significant Value Was Less Than 0.05 And The Mean Values Were 0.044, 0.005, 0.006, 0.009, And 0.004, Respectively. An 80% Pretest G Power Was Used To Determine The Sample Size.Six Groups Make Up The Total Sample Size Of Sixty. Conclusion: With Its High Rate Of Bacterial Inhibition, Tarenna Asiatica Shows Promise As A Future Treatment For Infectious Diseases And As A Helpful Agent Against Bacterial Infections.
