Strength evaluation of nanomaterial mixed cement

Effect of nanomaterials investigation, especially carbon nanotubes, nano-silica, and graphene oxide, on the mechanical characteristics of cement composites. The study aims to assess the effect of nanomaterial additions on compressive, flexural, and tensile strength based on cement materials. The study discovered that when nanoparticles are disseminated and integrated properly, they may greatly increase the mechanical characteristics of cement composites. These strengths are boosted by nanoparticles' capacity to reinforce the cement matrix and minimize microcracks through better interfacial bonding and packing density. However, because the efficacy of various nanomaterials differs, careful selection and proportion are essential. The findings might aid in the development of sustainable construction practices and infrastructure.Further investigation is required into nanomaterial-modified cement composites' long-term performance, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.
