Pengaruh Cyberbullying terhadap Social Anxiety dan Loneliness pada Generasi Z Pengguna Media Sosial X (Twitter) di Kota Bandung

The development of information technology in modern times has given rise to various conveniences and benefits, one of which is social media as a means of information and communication. However, unfortunately, social media also has a negative side, one of which is the case of cyberbullying. The purpose of this study is to analyze how cyberbullying affects social anxiety and loneliness among Bandung City's generation Z social media users. This study employs a quantitative approach, employing the snowball sampling technique and a Google Form questionnaire for data collecting on social media X (Twitter). Then the data processing is carried out with validity and reliability tests, normality tests, and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS to determine the influence between variables and their magnitude. The result is a positive influence of cyberbullying on social anxiety with a magnitude of 78.4%. The higher the cyberbullying, the higher the social anxiety, conversely if cyberbullying is low then social anxiety will be low. Likewise, cyberbullying on loneliness has a positive influence with a magnitude of 80.4%. The higher the cyberbullying, the higher the loneliness, conversely if cyberbullying is low then loneliness will be low too.
