Fine 3D Modeling of Oil and Gas Transport Parameters Based on Multiple Parameters
Summary The fourth member of Dengying Formation in Penglai Block, Sichuan Basin has a large burial depth and strong reservoir heterogeneity. High precision characterization of internal details is crucial for simulating oil and gas migration and accumulation. Taking the fourth member of Dengying Formation in Penglai Block, Sichuan Basin as an example, with the help of oil and gas reservoir dynamics theory, based on a large number of field outcrops and core observations, fully excavating and optimizing post stack seismic data, subdividing the target layer into smaller layers through seismic data to fully depict details, and combining various depth domain transport parameters such as seismic facies, faults, reservoir to ground ratio (the ratio of reservoir thickness to formation thickness per unit depth), fracture density, porosity parameters, etc., a fine three-dimensional digital model is established to simulate the process of oil and gas migration and accumulation.
