Increasing the technology readyness level for the application of Biohumate prototype with Biochar media enriched with PGPR bacteria in dry land in Parepare City, South Sulawesi

One way to overcome the declining quality of marginal land is to return organic matter to the land. Organic matter can prevent direct washing by rainwater so that soil minerals needed by plants are not carried away by surface flow. One source of organic matter produced is biohumate from cocoa pod husk compost that has been extracted. Research activities were carried out to determine the level of readiness of biohumate technology applied to real land, namely marginal land in Parepare City. The prototype was made by enriching biohumate with PGPR and decomposer bacteria and then used as charging/filler in BiocharBiocharchar to release nutrients slowly. The research was arranged in the form of experiments on dry land, namely the treatment of Biochar + Biohumic (B1), BiocharBiocharohumic + PGPR Bacteria (B2), and Biochar + Biohumic + Decomposer Bacteria (B3). The results showed that the three prototypes had a neutral to alkaline pH, with the lowest pH at B1 and the highest at B3. The highest carbon (C), N, and P content were in BiocharBiocharn Biohumic + Decomposer Bacteria. The highest content is compared with BiocharBiocharohumic and the prototype Biochar + Biohumic + Decomposer Bacteria. However, Biochar + humic + PGPR Bacteria has the highest K content. Likewise, the effect of Biochar + Biohumic + PGPR Bacteria on vegetative growth and production of chili plants in dry land. It shows that the prototype can be applied to real environments.
