Репродуктивная биология и развитие азиатской зубастой корюшки Osmerus dentex (Osmeridae) Тауйской губы Охотского моря
The article presents the results of 2015-2024's studieson the reproductive biology and embryonic development of the Asian Rainbow smelt Osmerus dentex Steindachner et Kner, 1870 from the Tauy Bay in the northern part of the Sea of Okhotsk. Data on the size and age composition of spawners, fecundity, and spawning dates are provided. The stadia and main stages of embryonic development of the Rainbow smelt from the Tauy River are described, and a morphological description of the hatched prelarvae and larvae of the species is given. It was found that during incubation, the diameter of the eggs increases from 1.27 ± 0.01 to 1.29 ± 0.01 mm. Prelarvae hatch at a length of 5.60-6.88 mm, averagely 6.20 ± 0.04 mm. The transition to exogenous feeding occurs on the 6th day after hatching, at an average length of 7.97 mm.
